Photo-polymer gravure made from an early 1960’s image of Elvis on the back-lot in Hollywood, CA. This quiet, child-like moment of Elvis on his bicycle is juxtaposed with a darkened and scratched working plate. The work reveals the man and yet disguises Elvis within another place, giving this ephemeral print its mysterious and powerful presence.
